Free Tools from Mircosoft Program Expands to High Schools

According to an article on eschoolnews (http://www.eschoolnews.com/news/top-news/?i=57927) microsoft has begun to offer free tools to High school students. However these are not just any tools, but professional grade development tools. Their reasoning? If they allow students to experience these things now, they may be inspired to start the next mircrosoft.

At first glance we may ask why microsoft would want to promote the creation of competition in the future. However this is not about competition but rather giving students the power to expand their dreams at an even earlier time. The article states:

"Even at a young age, students want to push the limits," Gates said. "It harkens back to when I was a student and wanted to push the limits. The earlier you get going, the more likely you are to get super, super good at it."

Gates was someone who set a precedent that paved the way for our modern computers. Now he wants to see others get the chance to do the same he did, spark an interest earlier in life and allow for the opportunity for others to accomplish as he did.
